Membership
MiCoCo provides member organizations with the following Benefits
- Opportunities to collaborate with other stakeholders, and to mobilize around key issues impacting the Mission community.
- Opportunities for mutual feedback and consultation from Mission organizations.
- Oppontunities for networking and information sharing.
- Increased visibility as an organization committed to working collaboratively.
- Opportunity to advocate for the Mission and speak with the support of a critical mass and to lift a strong voice in working with city officials.
Minimum Membership Requirements
- MiCoCo members are neighborhood based organizations and programs that serve Mission District communities.
- Voting representatives must work in the Mission District.
- Each member agency has one vote.
- All dues paying programs and organizations may vote.
- Non-Dues paying organizations may participate but may not vote.
- Public agencies may participate but may not vote.
Membership Expectations
- Commitment to MiCoCo Mission and Vision Statements.
- Working together with all MiCoCo members with mutual respect and cooperation.
- Sharing relevant information, resources, and expertise with other members of the network.
- Active participation in regular meetings and decision-making.
