Membership

MiCoCo provides member organizations with the following Benefits

  • Opportunities to collaborate with other stakeholders, and to mobilize around key issues impacting the Mission community.
  • Opportunities for mutual feedback and consultation from Mission organizations.
  • Oppontunities for networking and information sharing.
  • Increased visibility as an organization committed to working collaboratively.
  • Opportunity to advocate for the Mission and speak with the support of a critical mass and to lift a strong voice in working with city officials.

Minimum Membership Requirements

  • MiCoCo members are neighborhood based organizations and programs that serve Mission District communities.
  • Voting representatives must work in the Mission District.
  • Each member agency has one vote.
  • All dues paying programs and organizations may vote.
  • Non-Dues paying organizations may participate but may not vote.
  • Public agencies may participate but may not vote.

Membership Expectations

  • Commitment to MiCoCo Mission and Vision Statements.
  • Working together with all MiCoCo members with mutual respect and cooperation.
  • Sharing relevant information, resources, and expertise with other members of the network.
  • Active participation in regular meetings and decision-making.
