Mission Backpack Giveaway 2008

 

Mission Community Council, Good Samaritan Family Resource Center, and CARECEN teamed u to put on the 2nd Annual Mission Backpack Giveaway. With sponsorships and donations from the San Francisco Public Defender, PG&E, the Mayor's Office of Neighbohrood Services, Department of Park and Recreation, and First 5 a total of 797 backpacks were given away. Nearly 300 families attended the event.

Bernal Dwellings Summer Resource Fair

 

The aim of the resource fair was to connect community based organizations with residents of Bernal Dwellings. Families were offered free portraits of their family as an incentive for participating. Full Report
